Elders
Vernon Culver
Vernon & Jackie Culver moved to Chagrin Falls in 2008 and have been attending Fellowship for 13 years. Vernon graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and leads Engineering for Nestle USA. They will be celebrating 30 years of marriage this year, and have a daughter, Sierra. She is a 2020 graduate of Colorado Christian University and is now working in the accounting industry in Denver. Vernon prefers to serve behind the scene at Fellowship but you can find him serving coffee on Sundays. They enjoy opening their home to guests and hosting events as well as their small group. In Vernon’s spare time he enjoys golf and hiking or fly fishing in the Colorado Rockies. He has a heart for serving those in need/oppressed living in darkness and is motivated by God’s love to bring the light of Christ to see them set free. “I am the light of the world: If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” John 8:12
Kirt Kirtland
Kirt & Delene Kirtland came to Cleveland in 2003 from Chicago and began attending Fellowship the next year. They have two grown children: Brandon lives in Akron and Morgan and her husband, Jason, reside in Denver, Colorado. Kirt is doing CFO work for the Lantern Group. Delene is on staff at Fellowship as the Office Manager. Kirt has previously served as an Elder, a member of the Senior Pastor Search Team, and continues to serve on the Guest Relations Team, as a Fellowship Group leader, and on The Stewardship Team.
Eric Peiffer
Eric & Marcia live in Chagrin Falls with their six children: Phoebe and Chloe (who attend Miami University, Eric’s alma mater), Sebastien, MJ, 'Lil Eric (EB), and 'Lil Marcia (Marnie). Prior to moving to Chagrin, Eric and Marcia both spent time in NYC. Eric served in several leadership capacities at his church there, as well as with the Ambassadors Football (soccer) board for five years. The Peiffer family motto comes from Micah 6:8 - “Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.” Their children thus far have followed in Marcia’s footsteps, spending the majority of their teen summers in extended mission trips overseas. Eric has an MBA and leads a capital markets team at KeyBank downtown. He enjoys applying some of that experience in service with Fellowship’s Stewardship Team. He and Marcia have been thrilled to see all that God has done at FCC in the past few years!
Tim Shedden
Tim & Tiffany Shedden have been attending Fellowship since 2020. Tim has been employed as a corporate pilot with Flexjet for 26 years. He previously served in family ministries and on the Elder board at Oak River Church in Solon for 17 years. Tim accepted Christ as an 8-year-old; years later, the pastor who prayed with him became his father-in-law! Tim & Tiffany have been married for 28 years and have five children: Brooke, Haley, Cole, Jack, and Jenna. They were happy to celebrate Brooke’s marriage to Connor Culhane in 2022. Tim’s favorite verse is John 3:16 since it reminds him of how God gave His son for our individual redemption and only through Jesus can we have eternal life.
Tom Hardman (Vice Chair)
Tom is a retired mechanical engineer who gave his life to Christ in 1972. He has had the privilege of serving the Kingdom as a Christian school teacher, Children's Program leader, Singles' Bible Study leader, Adult Sunday School teacher, Christian School Board chairman, and Deacon Board chairman. His current ministries include mentoring and encouraging others through one-on-one discipleship. Tom's wife, Jacqueline, serves in Guest Relations and Fellowship Kids as well as in other ministries in the community. Tom and Jacquie have four grown children and two grandchildren. Their family began attending Fellowship in 2008, and Tom has served two previous terms as an Elder at Fellowship.
Jim Kristoff (Chair)
Jim & Audrey Kristoff were high school sweethearts and were married at Fellowship. They chose Fellowship as their family’s church home in 2007 and have been attending since then. Jim has served as an Elder, teacher, facilitator for DNA, youth ministry leader, and Fellowship Group leader. Jim directs product marketing & development at a global manufacturing company on Cleveland’s west side and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Management. Jim and Audrey have three children: Amanda, Nathan, and Joelle. They enjoy traveling and spending time at their lake house with family and friends.
Andrew Pfeifer
Andrew & Kimberly Pfeifer live in Hudson with their two daughters: Priya and Olivine. Both Andrew & Kimberly grew up in Northeast Ohio, but the Lord moved them to Charlotte, NC, for four years. Combining being raised in church (including board positions and youth ministry), attending a Christian college, and the time that they spent in Charlotte, God has continued to develop their faith and redefine what it means to serve God in different seasons. The most recent season includes joining Fellowship and assisting with the startup of the Hudson campus. Andrew manages a North American business team for a global chemical manufacturer, which has provided the opportunity to serve on industry boards and get involved with faith groups with customers. With the opportunity to meet many people in church and business, a cornerstone verse for them is Colossians 4:6 “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer
