A Future Rewritten

School is free in Ethiopia; however, a student must have school supplies and uniforms to attend. As an orphan, Tsiyon had no way to obtain the basics in life let alone the items required to get an education. But because of sponsorship, her future was rewritten.

Tsiyon was an orphan at the Life Center who was sponsored by someone at Fellowship City Church through Horizon International. Through sponsorship, not only was she able to get the items she needed to attend school, but the Life Center provided the tutoring and support she needed to succeed. Through the Life Center, she was also given a safe place to grow and thrive in the community and was introduced to the hope that can only be found in Jesus…a hope that has given her a beautiful future.

Tsiyon went on to college, graduated with a degree in marketing, and started her own business in liquid soap production. She created her own brand called “ADEY LIQUID SOAP” and has been busy promoting it at a bazaar in the capital city of Addis Ababa. Because of her success, she’s even had the opportunity to show her products to Her Excellency the President of Ethiopia!
